Om Kātyāyanāya vidmahe
Kanyakumāri dhīmahi
Tanno durgiḥ pracodayāt
May we contemplate the daughter of Kātyāyana [the Goddess Kātyāyani]
May we meditate upon the Virgin Goddess
May the Goddess Durga illuminate us
