An Introduction to Yoga Therapy with Maggie Reagh Oct 26th

This experiential workshop is designed for Yoga teachers and students alike interested in learning about the world of Yoga Therapy, progressively finding its place in our healthcare system as a modern evidence-based practice rooted in traditional practice-based evidence.

Yoga Therapy is defined by its individualized approach to classical yogic practices that help us to manage and alleviate the symptoms of both our physical and emotional imbalances, including lower and upper back pain as well as emotional stress. This workshop will introduce you to the most common breath-alignment-meditation based Yoga Therapy practices, including gentle Vinyasa, Chair, and Restorative Yoga, all modified for the minor imbalances that you bring to the workshop. It will include a 2 hour practice and an hour of theory/discussion.

For 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teachers the credits of the course can be applied towards the 500 hour certification, and is eligible for 3 hours CEU with Yoga Alliance. Continuing Education Units are required to maintain your status as a Registered Yoga Teacher.
